Jan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. It was here that she developed her serious devotion to the Minnesota Vikings. After graduating from Kennedy High School, Jan attended Winona State University. At college, she met and ultimately married John. While completing her Associate of Arts degree at Winona State, Jan was selected to participate in the Mayo Clinic Nursing School in Rochester MN. It was here that Jan earned her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Jan is the mother of four wonderful children. Jan continues her nursing career with the Aurora Health Care Clinic in Racine, WI. In the community, Jan has been involved as costume and props designer for many productions at the Racine Theatre Guild. Other than geocaching, Jan has one other major hobby as a participant in World War II reinactments. Jan is involved in recreating the women's nursing corps. in simulations at major military historical gatherings. Jan and her unit travel to many locations across the country to share the valuable input that women had in the war effort in WWII. | ||||||||||||||
