I usually get lots of questions about my stuff so here is a brief FAQ:
Q: why do you have all this stuff?
A: because I like it, and you never know when you might need a 60 year old mess tin.
Q: how many helmets do you have?
A: 9 right now, maybe more, 2 are modern Kevlar.
Q: how do you get all this stuff?
A: I go to all the different surplus stores I find. usually they have different stuff at each one, gun shows are good places to find surplus, as well as guns. as you can see the two hobbies are hand in hand.
Q: Are you crazy, militia, threat to society etc. etc.
A: NO, I have never commited a felony, have no criminal record whatsoever, and agree that felons probably should have their weapons confiscated. I am aware of certain militia orgs. most of which are honest good intentioned people, however I am not a member of any. most militias are looked at as terrorist groups because of the fascist militant groups claiming to be militia. From what I understand there is a vast difference between the two. According to the second amedment I can be considerred militia, as any able bodied male under 45(?), and I will not shrug my resposibilities should the need arise.
