Update on Lita
Posted on June 10, 2002

This is from 1wrestling.com: "Lita was seen in Atlanta over the weekend, with Matt Hardy. Raw is in Atlanta tonight, but I don't know if she will be there or not. She is still wearing her neckbrace and is nowhere close to being ready to return to work."

Shane Helms mentions the Hardys & Lita
Posted on June 10, 2002

From Hurricane's latest diary entry: "The Draft, to me, has changed the face of wrestling for the perceivable future, and for the better in my opinion. I will miss my friends on the RAW team, namely Matt, Jeff, and Lita, whom I travelled with almost every week, but I still have a lot of friends on the Smackdown side, so everything's cool. I honestly think that two separate shows is just what the WWE needed. More time for storylines to evolve. More time for guys you haven't seen on TV in a while to make some noise. And time for some guys that you've never seen at all to come forth. It's a good time to be a wrestling fan." Read the full entry here.

Jeff appears on Electric Circus again
Posted on June 8, 2002

Thanks Josephine for sending this in: "He did a little interview with the host of the show and it was about how much feedback the show got when the Hardyz were on during Wrestlemania. And they showed some fans screaming and stuff like that. Jeff wasn't actually on the show, it was something they showed on tape during the last 15 minutes of the show. And Jeff said to the host: "Is the Circus still Electric"?!"

Rhyno mentions Lita
Posted on June 4, 2002

In a recent interview with WWE.com, the currently injured Rhyno spoke a bit about Lita:

WWE.com: Have you talked to Lita?
Rhyno: Yeah, I actually talked to Lita right before her surgery and let her know that she was in good hands. Granted, it's unfortunate that it happened, but she's in good hands and it could be worse. I told her, "You might go a little stir crazy at home, but if you need someone to yell at, pick up the phone and call me, and I'll be the ear. But not the punching bag." (laughs)

WWE.com: You can sympathize with what she's going through.
Rhyno: Yeah. Her situation was a little bit worse, but I can definitely relate. She had the fusion, but she had a broken neck. And the doctor was able to get everything through the front (of her neck).

Austin mentions the Hardys and Lita
Posted on June 1, 2002

From Byte This: Kevin brought up Lita's injury and she hurt her neck doing that show and he recommended she go see Dr. Lloyd Youngblood. He's the best and Lita is a great talent and she hasn't had any serious injuries before so it got her scared. She was so tough when she busted her neck, she didn't even go to the hospital and she went to a house show and had her arm stuck in her shirt because she couldn't lift her arm. Austin told Lita to see Dr. Lloyd Youngblood and she did. Austin respects the Hardys and he likes Lita a whole lot. It was a pleasure for him to help out her, Benoit and the other guys as well

Jeff's Status
Posted on May 31, 2002

From 1Wrestling.com: A number of people have asked me what the status of Jeff Hardy is, since he is not listed as working house shows next month. He has been given time off by the office to ease up his schedule. Earlier this year, Hardy was dealing with burnout from the killer schedule WWE wrestlers work and this is hoped to be a preemptive strike to keep him from getting burned out again. He is working with the company on this.

If you've been thinking about asking Matt Hardy on a date, and you have good tickets to a 'Canes playoff game, this would be a good time to do so ;)

Raw Results
Posted on May 28, 2002

The Hardyz' opponents for tonights RAW were none other than NwO members X and T. (do they really deserved any more than just letters?) Matt started things off with X, exchanging technical maneuvers and take-downs. Matt got the upper hand with a leg drop and a cover, but T broke up the pin just before being tagged in. However, Matt dragged T to the Hardyz' corner and made the tag to his baby brother, Jeff Hardy. Continue...

By WWE.com writer Melissa Costabile: When I heard that Lita could be out for nine months, I thought about how truly lucky she is to be alive. Raw Results and Video
Posted on May 20, 2002

Tonight, the Hardy Boyz faced off against X-pack and the Big Slow (who were accompanied to the ring by Mister T). Jeff started things off with X-pack, the two exchanging technical moves and flying all over the place in pursuit of each other. Following a head scissors takedown by Jeff, the tag was made to Matt and the two double-teamed X-pack before he and Matt were alone in the ring together. The elder Hardy seemed to have things under control, until the NwO made their presence felt. Continue...

Lita out for months with Injury
Posted on May 12, 2002

If you've been away from the wrestling scene for the past couple of weeks, then here is a short summary of what's going on with our fallen diva. While filming 'Dark Angel' the first week of April, Amy was dropped on her head by a stuntwoman. At first, JR reported it was merely a stinger. However, we later found out that the injury was much more serious. Amy had surgery on April 30 to correct cracks and other problems in her neck area. She is now recovering - and according the the Ross Report, will be back at 100% before Wrestlemania 2003.

Droz talks about Lita
Posted on May 10, 2002

This is from Droz's latest commentary at WWE.com: "I just wanted to congratulate Lita on her TV role on Fox’s 'Dark Angel' last Friday. I am sure that it was bittersweet, knowing that she was injured while filming this, but from what I have heard, the surgery went well and she is recovering nicely. Matt Hardy was telling Julie that she is in a hard collar for six weeks and it is driving her absolutely crazy. I know from personal experience that if I had been able to use my hands, I would have ripped mine off! I just wanted her to know that I was thinking of her and to hang in there."

Ross Report
Posted on May 9, 2002

Lita is at home and doing well a little over a week after her surgery. She will be out of action about nine months before being able to do anything physical in the ring.

DDP talks about Lita in commentary
Posted on May 8, 2002

From DDPBang.com: "By the way, I talked to Lita and she’s doing great. She is one tough lady. I believe it was her fifth or sixth vertebrae that she broke in three places. Through a comedy of errors, (none of which were her fault) she didn’t have surgery until eighteen days after the accident…how tough is she? Right now, all she can do is rest and recover. I heard this news firsthand from Lita herself who, after her operation, called to check to see how I was doing. (How cool is she? VERY!)"

Lance Storm: "All the best to Lita"
Posted on May 7, 2002

Lance Storm mentioned Lita in his latest commentary: "I bring this up because I have several friends on the shelf right now with serious injuries. Chris Benoit, Rhyno, Lita, and Scotty 2 Hottie are all out with serious neck injuries. The first three are recovering from surgery and Scotty is having his neck operated on very soon. I can’t help but think that their injuries are due to the ever-rising bar we set for ourselves. Fans constantly expect more and we constantly try to top ourselves. It’s a vicious cycle and we are all, in some degree, to blame. All the best to Chris, Rhyno, Lita and Scotty, we miss you guys and want you back healthy."

Monster Magnet talks about Hardys Theme
Posted on May 5, 2002

Even though the Hardys don't seem to be using their new theme, I thought I'd post this little piece of info: "Last night I was listening to a radio music show called Hard Drive. They did an interview with the singer of Monster Magnet and asked him how the band got to do a song for the WWF Forceable Entry CD. He said that they (I assume he meant the WWF) contacted them and asked if they'd be interested in doing a song. He told them "No, because I'm not really a fan of wrestling", and they said "well, we'll pay you a lot of money". So anyway, the band agreed and wrote the song and was really rushed to record it....they had to have it done no later than New Year's Day, and they recorded in about a day and a half."
