The History of
Yasat
Less than one year ago the world was a peaceful place.  Monsters kept to their caves, towns’ people fed them, and adventurers went and killed them.  It was how the world should be, but then things changed.

Without any warning beasts who’s powers rivaled that of the gods tore across our land.  Many brave heroes arose to combat these creatures, but not one of them survived.  Whole cities were destroyed in hours by these castle-sized abominations.  It looked as if our world was finished, but then they simply vanished.  Those schooled in the divine arts lost contact with their gods; some said the gods themselves were dead.  It didn’t take long before this fact became all too clear.

That was four months ago.  We now turn our attention to the village of Forest Brook which has become a haven for refugees from around the world, but even in the wake of tragedy there are those who would prey upon others for their own gain.  Within the past week alone five children have gone missing.  These foreign adventurers care not of our plight for we have nothing to offer them.  We begin now in the Dragon’s Dive, those who have taken up this task gathered at a single table…
