With academic excellence as a major focus, students are to: - come prepared for all classs with books, paper, pen, and other required materials; - have all homework assignments completed (homework is assigned daily); - take books home daily, including weekends and return to school daily with books and supplies. - Spend two to three hours each day preparing homework and out-of-classroom projects; - Work to achieve honor roll status (3.0 to 4.0 GPA) - make all satisfactory grades in ork havits and cooperation which are most important to students' overall academic focus. - have a book bag, briefcase, dictionary, thesaurus, and a novel for homeroom reading; - remember that grades are issued three times each semester; students with 4.0 for the semester will receive a trophy and their names are placed in a drawing for a free airline ticket (Northwest). - be eligible to participate in extra-curricular activies, by having: a 2.5 GPA and no more than 2 U's in cooperation (Students may be in activity classes, but may not perform unless eligible.) |
