For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with history. Not just dates and places, but in the people and their stories. My start with Washington's 75th anniversary was last year, second semester, when I discovered a '56 and '57 yearbook in the Leadership room. As I began to look through the pictures, I thought of what those people's lives must have been like, and what their lives are like now. I then thought, "How many years has Washington been open?" When I conneted the dates and realized 75 years was upon us, I took it as my own personal task and responsibility to oversee such a significant and important event and to make sure it did not go unnoticed.

So enjoy the page, flashback on "the good old days" and relive high school at W.P.H.S. (or G.W.H.S as it was formally known). Maybe, you'll rekindle all those memories that made those short lived teenage years so great.
