1st Annual Washer Pitching Tournament!

What is Washer Pitching?

Who Came Up With It?
This is a variation of traditional Washer Toss, Washer Pitching, or Washoes, which is also based on horseshoes and is a game that has been around for a long time. The problem with traditional Washer Pitching is that it uses holes dug into the ground as targets, which makes it too hard to take on the road with you! Leave it to ingenious back-country Indiana folks to solve that problem!

This Washer Pitching Game can be played inside or outside. It's a game of skill, played by 2 or 4 people. The game uses 6 big metal washers (3 for each team). Three of the washers should be painted or marked different from the other 3 washers. All washers should be the same size and weight. The game is played with 2 boards, each with one circular hole in the center as a target. The boards should be placed on the ground 15 feet apart. Points are scored by whomever throws their washer into the hole, or closest to it (keeping washers on the board).

Should I buy it, or make it myself?
Just like a true Jedi-Knight must make his/her own light-saber, a true Washer Pitching Master should make their own game.
