Miaka looked around the room. She was so lonely. Tamahome? How could you? She thought. The images of him and Yui walking off together hurt her so much. She flex her arm that Mitsukake had healed earlier...Tamahome had broken it. But still...she hated him for that. How dare he?! How could he?! He had no heart! She sat in the corner of her room. His magesty had offered himself to her...but still...she did not want him.
About this time tomorrow
I wonder where will you be?
Who will you be thinking of?
Tasuki walked into her room."Hey, Miaka? You in here?" He looked about a bit. He spotted the brown haired girl in a corner of the room. "Miaka?" He approached her with caution. She looked up at Tasuki slowly.
"Tasuki. It hurts"
"What does?"
"...rejection..." that word touched him. Some how, some way...he would avenge her. But for now...all he could do was comfort her.
"Don't worry about that loser! I'm here for you! I will never reject you!" he smiled and pulled her into his arms.
"I-I know...Tasuki...the thing is...I rejected him first."
"Wha? When?"
"After I met you. I-I fell in love with you somehow...I can't explain it!" She looked up at the man with firey hair. "I wanted to tell you so badly! That all this time, it was you who I was in love with! Not Tamahome! You!"

Tasuki was shocked. His dream had come true. Never had he ever thought that Miaka would be in love with him. He pressed his lips to hers and kissed her with all he had. She kissed him back, with just as much passion. As he moved to her neck, Miaka's tears began to dry. "Tasuki...I love you...and none other!"
He paused long enough to say "And I you." That night, they shared their love for each other til morning came.
The moment in time that stood still

Miaka awoke to find her self curled up in bed with Tasuki. His arm was wrapped over her.She smiled as he slowly blinked before awakening. "Moring!" She felt much better than last night.
"Morning." he smiled back at her. He was so happy that last night wasn't a dream.

Tasuki saw a strange look on her face. "What?"
"You didn't do all that last night...just to sleep with me...did you?" She was serious.
Amazed, Tasuki kissed her again. "I would never do that. What kind of a man do you think I am?"
She smiled. She felt much better now. She knew that he was telling the truth by the look in his eyes. He truely did love her back.
