It is hard to be witty
  when you are feeling as tired as me
 I would love to write a deep poem
  but, I am trying to go home
  While fighting to stay awake
 Feeling as if I have the flu
  It is all that I can do
   to make it through this class
 But, If he thinks I am paying attention
  he can kiss my .... Wellll
  I forgot to mention
   that I miss my girl
 and nothing in this world
  can keep my thoughts upon 
    a lecture
 When she is on my mind
  Though I ought
   to take some time
 to hear the man
  I think he does the best he can
  to make us understand
  what he is thinking
   even though if he thinks he’ll get my attention
  He must be drinking
