Headlines Rodney C. Walmer 1/31/97

A three alarm fire
Ex Pathmark employee's for hire
Jury tampering in the OJ court
New regulations in the new blood sport

In a hurry, Well you'll have to wait
There's been a major accident
   on the Garden State

Yesterday just before dark
Another baby found dead
In the park

Just a few of today's headlines
but, more than enough to blow your mind

Budget cuts for education
 The president's concerned
About this once great Nation

Drug abuse is on the rise
Horse is back with a new disguise

On the morning front,
Of course,
The dollar is down against the Yen
But, Economist predict
It will rise again

Aside from all of the pain
The weatherman calls for rain

As I read each story
I feel sorry
For the masses
But, then nobody ask us
If we mind
the tragedy of each headline. . .
