Thoughts of Mediocrity           3/18/96

He thought along lines
     of current events
His thoughts at times
    where quite intense
Often he dealt with issues
 Far too immense
For his short time
But, 
when thoughts of mediocrity
  would cross his mind
He would resort
  to thoughts of eternity
Eternally thinking thoughts
   That might never be. . .
