 Words he’ s written through the years
 Meaningful words written 
 while holding back the tears
 Sometimes He’d hurt so much
 He’d use the words as a crutch

 When he was down
 To think of something else
 He would just look around
 Forgetting himself
 He’d replace the pain
 With words
 Though not same
 these words
 would save him again
