| Biography: He led the Fellowship after the fall of Gandalf in Moria, as far as Parth Galen. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, then turned toward Isengard in pursuit of the orc band whom had captured Merry and Pippin. After meeting up with Gandalf, seeing the destruction of Isengard and finding Merry and Pippin safe, Aragorn then made for the Paths of the Dead because of what he saw in the Palantir. Once he emerged from the Paths of the Dead, Aragorn arrived in Gondor with a large army of men and turned the tide of battle on the Pellennor Feilds. Soon after, he was captain of the armies of the west, who rode out to challenge Sauron in Mordor. After the war of the ring, Aragorn was crowned King of the reunited kingdom, named Elessar, and wed Arwen Evenstar. During his reign, he restored peace to the land, and broadened it's borders. Aragorn had met Arwen when he was twenty years old, and instantly fell inlove with her, but Elrond Half-Elven forbid the marriage untill Elessar had claimed his throne. |
