Legolas' keen sight and archery skills were his min asset to the fellowship. After the breaking of the fellowship, Legolas traveled with Gimli, son of Gloin, and Aragorn, son of Arathorn, in search of Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took, who had been captured by orcs. He then fought in the battle of Hornburg. He eventually went to Gondor, and fought in the battle of Pelannor Fields; while in Gondor, he had his first glimps of the sea, and was overcome by a deep desire to sail in from that moment on. After the War of the Ring, He travelled with Gimli to The Glittering Caves, and then to Fangorn Forest. In the year 120 FO, after the death of Elessar, He sailed over the sea to the west, taking with him Gimli, son of Gloin, the last of the fellowship. |
