Unicorn: By Afeara
The sun lights the trees,
The pond sparkles with crystal water droplets,
The silver blur stirs my eyes.

There it stands, a vision of only a dream,
The tall grass sways in the breeze about its cloven hooves.
It's velvet soft muzzle dips gracefully,
majestic, with a royal air.

It raises its head, and there I see the silver wand horn,
it shows its power, it shows its grace,
the silk white neck catches the sun,
a worthy pedestel to bear it's pride.

The equine head shows no hate,
its eyes a soft blue with peace do gaze,
through the trees and evaluates me.

I feel no fear but awe in its presence,
peace wafts over,
all is good.
