1. Don't leave the store after ordering.
2. No talking on cell phones when ordering.
3. After ordering, please move down to the end of the counter to make room for more customers.
4. No credit/debit cards (checks or cash accepted).
5. Tell us what you want, not what you don't want.
6. Don't aggravate Gary too much.
7. Pay your tabs promptly, do not let them accumulate.
8. Allow sufficient time (15-20 minutes unless otherwise told) for phone orders.
9. Realize that even if you order by phone, you must wait on line with everyone else.
10. Allow one employee per order during busy hours. (If you and a friend are paying together and have someone waiting on you already, do not request other sandwiches to be made by another employee).
11. Remember that we love/need single dollar bills (even the crisp ones from the bank if necessary).
12. Be an attentive customer when we are busy and need to ring you up.
13. Do not tell the Deli man how to run his business.
14. Order your hot sandwich before your cold sandwich for speedy service.
15. Clean up your mess at the outside tables.
16. No tips: we treat all of our customers well.
17. Return the wooden boards from catering orders.
18. Limit the amount of sandwiches requested at once down to about 3 or less. We only have 2 hands, 3 slicers and can only remember so much.
19. Do not eat in the store. When the weather is nice, limited outdoor seating will be available.
20. Don't take offense to any of the suggestions above; they're simply ways for you, the customer, to help us serve you better. |
