Back when I started collecting Waterbury Watches, there was no one comprehensive source for information. Most people were only dimly aware the company even existed, and no one seemed to know anything about the watches they made.

Thus began, for me, a voyage of research and discovery. Just as an archeologist pieces together shards to re-create a broken jug, so the fragments of information I garnered began to fall into place, linking together to form a picture of a company which left a greater impact on horology than has previously been credited. As each piece of the puzzle fell into place, I began to dream of sharing this knowledge with my fellow collectors.

The Waterbury Watch Museum is the product of many years research and collecting, and is a totally non-profit site. Although still incomplete, it is the most extensive, authoritative, and comprehensive source of information on the Waterbury Watch Co. that is currently available anywhere. Many of the beautiful items pictured are here thanks to the generosity of the people who have visited this site. Due credit is given where possible. Please note that none of the items pictured on the site are for sale, and we do not sell parts.
