| The Breezy Bluff Group Students are very successful in area competitions! For 14 of the last 16 years the grand champion entry at the local county fair was won by a Breezy Bluff Student 2004 was Evan Wilcox & reserve by Eric Wilcox! 2005 was Eric Wilcox & reserve by Evan Wilcox ! 2005 OutStanding IL State Fair Watercolor Anna Schenk 2006 was Evan Wilcox sketch 2005/2006 found our students as best of class winners in Jr Sketching, Sr Sketching, Acrylic Painting, Watercolor Painting, Sculpture Students all enjoyed "A" ratings on many if not all entries made. Students also have great results in chruch, regional, and other misceleanous exhibits! Students are encouraged to enter contests, but often reminded the real purpose of art is to beautify or communicate and ribbons are just extra. |
