Aerospace Education Foundation  Supports Many Educational Programs in Tampa Area

The Aerospace Education Foundation (AEF) supports many worthwhile programs in the Tampa Bay area for scholarships, student grants and education.  The AEF is a 50l (c)(3) nonprofit education foundation.  All of your contributions are tax deductible.

The Jerry Waterman Chapter 3l6 has contributed over $l00,000 in the last ten years.  Among the Chapter 3l6 education programs are scholarships for Stewart Middle School, Visions of Exploration scholarships, support of local AFROTC and AFJROTC units, and scholarships to students at Hillsborough Community College.

AEF supports and develops programs in three main areas:

·         Enhancing aerospace & technical education

·         By assisting students and educators

·         Informing the American public about aerospace issues so that they can make informed decisions regarding investment in the nation's future.

Colonel Ron Hoelzer, USAF (Retired), currently heads the Jerry Waterman Aerospace Education Foundation. To raise money for the Jerry Waterman AEF, Chapter 3l6 will sponsor a Golf Tournament in February and support a booth at the 2002 Air Fest. If you would like to know more about the AEF or contribute to it, please contact Colonel Hoelzer.
