The T.V. Series

In late 1999, a tv series was made from the novel, Watership Down, and was released for the UK and Canada.  So far, it is a two season thing with 30 min. long episodes.  There are many differences between the book and the tv series. Some of them are that the plot has changed a little,

Blackberry has turned into a doe, and Bigwig now has his mane.       This is a very cute cartoon and it is for a younger audience than the movie was. (Probably ages 7 - 10)  Because of this, they sell childrens books and cute plushie dolls. Something that I was really happy about was that another version of the song 'Bright Eyes' was made for the tv show.  It is sung by Steven Gately from Boyzone.
