| The next week went by more quickly than I could imagine. Between trying to keep working out, getting settled in our new apartment and helping Jake decide what would be better, buying or building a new gym, I was exhausted. Not to mention the fact that Taylor spent every night in my bed instead of at home. It was already to the point that he kept a few sets of clothes and necessities in my place to save time in the mornings. We had a few dinners with the Hansons, which was relaxing and fun for both Jake and me. Jake fit right in with the rest of the screwy men in that family. Jessica and I spent some time working on her tumbling, which she was getting really good at. I watched as she helped her younger siblings practice and I was proud of her. She was doing everything I had asked of her. Diana was more than pleased to have her and the other kids kept busy. Taylor was sweet about helping us to unpack and arrange things in the apartment, as we spent most evenings that week doing just that. I wouldn't unpack most of my things though, because I planned on geting my own place. Jake spoke to Abbey almost every night. Finally on Thursday evening I was ready to drop. Taylor was sitting on the sofa and I was leaning on his chest. We were listening to some music and chatting aimlessly with Jake, when Jake's phone rang. "Hi Abbey.." I heard him say, and I smiled up at Taylor. I was happy to see that Jake was making an effort with Abbey. I always felt guilty when he was only focusing on me. "Really?" | "Abbey stayed with her on a buisness trip this week. Guess her trainer decided to give up traveling due to the fact that he is a new father. Now Watts is stuck, I'd be dumb if I didn't offer Jess. Wanna take a road trip this weekend Tay?" I asked. "Abbey's coming in anyway..and Zac asked if we'd go with him to see Wattley..please?" I batted my eyelashes at him and giggled. He chuckled and kissed my forehead. "Sure babe. We actually have the weekend off and Zac was hinting.." "Thank you baby." I said and kissed his cheek. "Call Zac." I grinned. |
| Tay called Zac and gave him the good news. I could guarantee that Zac was on the phone to Watts as soon as Tay hung up. I waited a while than called Wattley. Sure enough she had just spoken to Zac. I gushed about how much fun we'd have and then hung up. I called Jake into the room. "Hey Jakey! Get to writing and organizing. Give me an offer for her that she can't refuse." I said. He grinned and tapped his leather binder. "On it sis.." "Good." I said and yawned. "Why the hell am I so damned sleepy all the time?" I grouched, looking at Taylor. "Hey don't look at me," he teased. "I have had you in bed actually sleeping at a decent hour every night this week." "Shit, Jake! You better hurry up with Watts, I'm slipping already.." I said. "You are not." Taylor said. "You have been dealing with alot of change and have been busy arranging your own life along with planning my brother's ENTIRE wedding, give yourself a break Jess." he said. "Maybe you'll feel better once we get back from Indiana.." he said. "I hope so." I muttered. He chuckled and kissed the top of my head. "C'mon baby...I'll tuck you in." he grinned. "Oh, is that all?" I teased. "What do you think?" he whispered in my ear and got up, pulling me up with him. "Nite, Jakey.." I said over my shoulder. "Nite.." he mumbled his head bent over his notebook. He didn't even notice we were gone. |
| Once inside my bedroom I couldn't stifle another yawn. I sat heavily on the bed and sighed. "Dammit.." I muttered. Taylor just chuckled and knelt down in front of me , wrapping his arms around my waist. I spread my knees apart so he could get closer to me and ran my hands through his hair. "Mmmm...Jess, that feels good." he said, closing his eyes. I kissed his forehead and did it again. "God..Jess." he groaned and laid his head in my lap. I stroked his hair for a while, loving the feel of the silky gold strands between my fingers. Suddenly he looked up at me. "Baby, are you really that tired?" he asked. "Mmmm...I don't know Tay. Just seems like I can't sit down without falling asleep lately." I said. "I think you'll adjust soon, sweetheart. Don't let it worry you, though. It will only get worse. Happens to me and my brothers after we've come off a long stretch on the road." he tried to comfort me. I brushed his hair off his face with my fingers and smiled. "I love you, Taylor." He stood up and took my hand. "C'mere.." he said, pulling me up and into his arms. I slid mine around his waist and pressed my cheek to his chest as he stroked the back of my head. "I love you so much, Jess." he murmured and bent to kiss me. It started out soft and sweet, but as it lasted, it became more urgent. Taylor dug his hands into my hair and licked my lips before sucking my tongue into his mouth. My grip tightened on his waist and I moaned slightly. His kisses always made my heart beat faster and my knees feel weak. I clung to him as he continued his sweet assault on my mouth, loving the taste of him. | I laced my fingers through his as his other hand caressed my cheek. I closed my eyes and reveled in the feel of his long, strong fingers on my skin. He undressed me slowly and pulled the covers on the bed back. He settled me gently, propping pillows behind my back. I pulled my knees to my chest and wrapped my arms around them as I watched him undress. As he pulled his t-shirt off over his head, I gasped softly at the sight of the muscles in his back moved under his skin. He ran a hand through his hair and faced me, smiling. He looked down through his golden frame of bangs to unbuckle his belt and unzip his pants and I caught myself holding my breath. He was so beautiful. He slipped out of them and threw them over the chair against the wall. He removed his boxers throwing them on the chair with his pants and slowly moved toward me. The sight of his beautiful, naked body in front of me had me trembling already. He slipped into bed next to me and put his arms around me, holding me close. |
