JESSIE: I felt like such a horrible little spoiled jerk as I sat down in the middle of that platform and bawled my head off. And I felt even sorrier for Taylor, who had to deal with my completely uncharateristic outburst. Granted, everyone, except Diana and the little kids, had seen me lose my temper to some extent. But even I had no idea where these tears were coming from and I couldn't stop them. I hated being treated like a porcelain doll, ready to break any second. And I hated even more that Taylor was sitting here, trying to soothe my irrational self, and I couldn't bring myself to speak. I just sat there sobbing like a two year old. I felt him rocking me, kissing me, holding me close to him, and I felt even worse. I finally got myself under control and explained how I felt about being treated like a fragile piece of glass, and how I was angry and frustrated and worried that he wouldn't be able to do what he needed to when he went away, if he was preoccupied with something as trivial as me forgetting to change my diet with my activity level. I loved being so busy, and I was enjoying helping Lacey out, but I would have to take dractic measures with her if she didn't stop letting tiny things throw her. Shyeah...I was one to talk right now. But being busy kept me from missing Taylor when he was gone, especially since they were getting so busy gearing up for their tour. I just needed time to adjust and I told him that. I also pleaded with him to PLEASE just take this day and make it a normal, relaxing day off together before going back to life at breakneck speed. And he was leaving again soon, I just wanted to be with him. "We can do anything you want today.." he promised, still sitting wrapped around me. He kissed my neck and rested his chin on my shoulder. We sat like that on the platform, just looking out over the water for a long time. I finally lifted my head and looked at his legs, crossed at the feet in front of mine and realized that he was in his clothes, and still soaked. "Tay..oh my god...oh baby...I am a selfish, rotten, spoiled brat. Look at you! I'm so sorry..." His arms tightened around me and he kissed my neck again. "No you're not..." he chuckled. "Just stubborn. C'mon, we'll swim back and I'll chnge in to something more appropriate for swimming..." |
"Oh god! Taylor..I'm sorry baby." I said again and turned to hold him, kissing his neck and cheek, finally ending up kissing his sweet lips. His hands went to my hair and I leaned him back, so he was lying on the platform. I sucked each one of his lips into my mouth and then slipped my tongue between his slightly parted lips, searching for his. He kissed me back, tangling his tongue with mine and digging his hands into my still damp hair. He rolled me over, covering my body with his and searching my mouth with his tongue more urgently. I slid my arms around his neck and played with the ends of his equally damp hair, the took a handful and pulled his mouth even more fully onto mine. He broke away from me and looked into my eyes. "Jessie...I love you so much. I can't wait to marry you much longer. When I get back from this next trip, I want to set the date. I need to know, Jess. I want to have that to look forward to when I have to be so far away from you." I gazed into his clear blue eyes for a moment, the love they held for me was overwhelming, but comforting at the same time. Seeing my own feelings for him reflected back at me that way assured me that I would never truly be alone as long as he was alive. I would give him the universe if I could. I pushed a stray, damp spike of hair away from his face. "Taylor...I want nothing more than to be your wife. We can set the date whenever you want, I just want to make you happy.." I told him. |
"Jessie, you do make me happy... I am so happy when I am with you that when we have to be apart, I feel like there's an empty space where my heart used to be.." he took my hand and laced his fingers through mine. "I need you so much.." he whipered and bent to kiss me again. "I need you too..." I whispered back just as our lips met. |
ZAC: I bent my head to kiss her again as she combed the ends of my hair with her fingers. I loved the feel of her next to me, the smell of her hair, the way she tasted as I explored her mouth with my tongue. She pressed herself closer to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I kissed my way down her neck to her shoulder, he let her arm drop and I caught it, taking her hand in mine. I pulled slightly away from her and smiled. "I'm glad we're here.." I said, looking around at the campsite we were taking up. "But I think Tay and Jess have been hogging that lake long enough...let's go... get your swimsuit on..we're going swimming!" I grinned. "I better bring Tay his shorts too..I don't think he planned on swimming in his clothes ALL day.." She laughed and went into the tent to change, while I went through Tay's stuff and found his board shorts and a couple of towels. Robin came out of the tent in her swimsuit and I had to stop what I was doing and just look at her. She had on a two piece, olive green bikini. The bottoms were high cut and showed off her legs, which were strong and tanned. The waistband dipped just under her navel, and her stomach was smooth and defined. Her top covered her breasts, but I could see the smooth, soft skin that peeked just out of the top of the fabric. She had her long blonde hair around her neck to one side so she could tie the top at the neck. I watched, mesmerized, as she did that then flipped her hair back and started to braid it quickly, the defined muscles in her arms showing very move she made with her hands. She had the hair tie around it within a couple of minutes and let her braid drop to hang down her back, while the few pieces that framed her face sprang free. |
She looked at me and smiled. "Ready?" "Yeah...in a sec..." I smiled and went to her, resting my hands on her waist. "You are so beautiful..." I told her and kissed her, then stroke her cheek with the back of my hand. She smiled up at me and covered my hand with hers. "Thank you Zac. That actually means alot, coming from you." she said and kissed my cheek. Then she grinned back at me and asked, "D'you think it's safe to go down there?" I shook my head as she giggled. "Hell no! But I'm not gonna let them hog up the whole freaking lake when they have a perfectly good tent with doors that zip shut..." I said. She laughed again and took my hand. "Come on then, the lake did look good and I do want to get a swim in before we leave. If I'm moving to Tulsa we won't get back here that much...it's a long drive from there." Tulsa. Yes. I could kiss Jake's feet. Or her former trainer's. Or both. Hell! I felt unbelieveably happy that things turned out the way they did. Robin would be close to me when I was home and she'd be with Jess and Jake when I had to be gone. And now I didn't have to deal with that whiny girl that Lacey had me escorting down the aisle, I knew Lacey would invite "Wattley" as soon as she heard that she would be in town. Lacey really liked both Jessie and Robin, as far as I could tell she wanted to be more like them than her own mother, and she tried. But with the stress of planning a large wedding in a short period of time, she was starting to revert to her old self. Maybe with the two of them there, Jess would take it easier and Lacey would be able to deal better. |
