The doctor's visit went well, Jessie was healthy and the baby's heartbeat was still good. Dr. West still mentioned her weight though.
"You're not gaining at all Jessie..you HAVE to gain a little.." he said.
"Ugh!" she rolled her eyes. "It's not like I'm not trying.." she pouted. "I eat like a pig."
"Most pregnant women don't remodel whole rooms and workout everyday either, Jess." I tried to soothe her.
"Everyday?" Dr. West asked.
"Yeah. Not hard, just what I'm used to.." Jess said.
TAYLOR:

"Jessie...I swear this is the first time I've had to say this to any of my patients..." Dr. West told her, "But you CANNOT workout THAT much. If you insist on doing everything yourself then cut down on the cardio..weight train all you want..you have to rest some for it to work..and I KNOW you know that..you've got to gain SOME weight Jess."
"How many women would be in here wanting to kill me or at least slap me around for even having this conversation.." she grinned and then sighed. "I taught a couple of classes for Wattley this month, too. She's gonna burn out soon..."
"Fine, Jess." the doctor told her. "But don't teach more than 3 a week, and let that be the ONLY actual cardio workout you do. What about the nausea?" he asked.
"Gone. Now I just eat my meals with a damn shovel.." she grumbled. "If Zac and I had a bet..he'd LOSE.."
Both Dr. West and I chuckled and I slipped my arm around Jessie's shoulder.
"Okay you guys..everthing else looks really good. Baby's heart is good, so the only thing is for you to take it easy on the cardio and eat something just 'cause it tastes good for a change Jess. I know your diet is almost perfect the rest of the time, so eat a bowl of ice cream or something once in a while for pete's sake." he grinned.
"Kay.." she grinned back.
"See you next month, Jess. Taylor, hope the rest of  your tour goes as well as I heard the beginning went." he shook my hand.
"Thanks.." I smiled back.
"Oh Jess?" he stopped her, and grinned sheepishly.
"What?" she grinned back, looking confused and curious.
"We need a poster of you geting your title when they come out, the girls wanna put it in their break room for inspiration. They made me ask..the chickens.."
"I'll get Jake to handle it and I'll bring it with as soon as I have it. " she smiled.
"A tour poster would be nice to hang next to it, too.." he gave me a sideways look and winked.
"You got it.." I grinned back.
"Thank you.." he stuck his head out the door. "Yes, Becky..tell the girls to hold two spots on the wall in there." he looked back in at us and laughed.
"Go make your appointment with Becky, Jess. See you soon." We left the office, chuckling.
JESSIE:

Dave pushed through the crowd of vultures for us, opened the door to Tay's truck for me and gave me a hand in while his partner did the same for Tay. He and I let out a simultaneous, exasperated sigh as he started the truck and waited for Dave to pull out and clear the way for us. Once out of the chaos, Taylor turned to me smiling. We still have a couple of free hours, baby. What did you want to do?" he asked.
"Let's just go home sweetie. I don't want to deal with this crap now, and I'm still a little tired." I told him and took his hand, sliding over to lay my head on his shoulder. "Okay, but I have to warn you.." he grinned, "Ike and Lacey are probably there. If we show up now we'll ruin their surprise."
"Which is..?" I asked.
"They're just packing for us, baby. We ARE leaving on our honeymoon, tomorrow." he smiled brightly.
"I didn't forget." I told him. "But after you sweet talked your way into getting your present early, I should torture you until you tell me where we're going.." I laughed.
"Ooooh...would you?" he grinned, batting his eyelashes. I laughed again.
"Just for that..NO!" I teased.
"Aww man.." he gave me a pitiful looking pout.
"Sheesh! Like I could resist.." I kissed his neck and laid my head on his shoulder. "I still just want to go home, Tay.."
"Okay, Jess. Let me just make one quick stop.." he said.
"Alright.."
I had no idea what he stopped for, he rolled the truck window down and sent Dave's partner after it, but I was busy on my cell phone with Jake.
"Abbey's flight's delayed a bit Jess, would you let Diana know that we'll be a little late? But not too late.." he asked me.
"Sure Jakey..hey weren't you guys supposed to pick up your suits in a bit?"
"Yeah..can you just have Tay get mine too? I'll bring it home with me after dinner.."
"You got it bro..hey.." I stopped him before he could hang up.
"What gumby?"
"Have I told you that I love you and that you're the best brother a girl could ask for, today?' I giggled.
"Nope, not today. But it just goes without saying, huh?" he laughed.
"Give Abbey a hug for me, you big headed goober.."
"Kay sis. See ya soon."
"Later Jakeman.." I flipped my phone shut and looked at Tay.
"All set?" I asked.
"Yeah..what's up with Jake?"
"Abbey's flight's delayed, they're gonna be a little late and could you please pick up Jakey's tux for him?" I batted my eyelashes this time and giggled.
"Sure Jess." he kissed the top of my head, started the truck, and headed home.
