"Jessie, don't ever even jokingly doubt that I love you..." he said roughly. "I love you more than you could ever know." My arms went around him and I hugged hin close. "I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to upset you..." I kissed him and hugged him again. He held me away from him and looked in to my eyes. "I'm not upset, Jessie... I just don't ever want you to EVER think that I don't love you..." he said softly and pulled me to him. |
I hugged him close pressing my cheek against his chest through his wet T-shirt. "I love you, Taylor. So much. I can't desribe it to you..." I said. He looked down at me then ran his hand through his soaking wet hair. We both had to laugh. "Well at least I'm awake now..." I grinned. He peeled his wet clothes off and stayed in the shower with me, washing my hair for me and gently washing my body. I ran my hands all over his body, loving the feel of his warm wet skin. It was a long time before we were out of the shower. |
When we finally did emerge from the bathroom, dry, dressed and presentable, Lacey and Ike were cleaning up the small mess in the kitchen from the night before. "Hi Jessie!" Lacey giggled. "You awake now?" "Good morning miss Lacey," I said sweetly, "Yes I am thank you." I grinned at her and she giggled again. "Morning sleepyhead.." Ike grinned at me. "God morning to you, too." I said equally sweet. "Would anyone mind if I had another cup of coffee? Seeing as how I was so RUDELY awakened?" I asked with a smile. They all laughed as Taylor came into the kitchen with my coffee cup. I smiled sweetly at him and asked, "would you mind pouring me another one Tay?" and walked out to the living room and began taking care of our mess. I picked up the blankets that never made it onto the bed, and folded them. I pulled the pillowcases off and the sheets and took them to Lacey's laundry area and threw them in the wash. I went back into the living room just as Taylor was coming out of the kitchen with my coffee. He handed it to me, thanked him and took a sip. I put it down on the end table and began sorting through the clothes on the floor. I picked them all up and went toward the laundry area, dropping them into an empty basket. I went into the bathroom, picked up wet towels and Taylor's wet clothes and threw them in the basket as well. I walked back into the living room and sat down next to Taylor on the couch, as he had folded the bed back up. I grabbed my coffee and sipped, taking Taylor's hand in mine. He smiled down at me and kissed the top of my head. Just then Ike and Lacey came into the room. "I'm amazed, Jessie.." Lacey giggled. "You've been up for a while and I haven't heard your stomach growl yet." "Sheeesh, Lace..let my tummy wake up first.." I said. "I haven't even finished my coffee yet.." "We should get going, you guys. You know Mom and brunch...there will probably be enough food to feed the entire block..." Ike said. We stood to leave and as I went into the kitchen to put my cup in the diswasher my stomach growled. Taylor had come in behind me, he heard it and chuckled. "My mother will appreciate you for your apppreciation of her cooking if nothing else," he teased. I shook my head and grabbed his hand. "Let's go.." |
Once again mealtime at the Hanson family home was an event. Diana was a wonderful cook. Soon the conversation turned to the fact that my appetite almost matched Zac's. "Oh come on you guys.." I groaned. "I eat enough to sustain my activity level...which is alot." "That's true," Lacey said, "I've worked out with her and watched her practice her routine. Anyone who pushes their body like that has to eat." "Well, it's good to see a girl with an appetite and not trying to starve herself... you go ahead, Jess." Diana commented and Tay just smiled. I assumed this was an ongoing subject with his sisters and mother. "How is your leg, today, Jessie?" she asked me. I looked up from my plate in surprise. "I forgot all about it..it doesn't even hurt .." I said. "Oooh..does that mean we can start the lessons?" Jessica asked excited. I looked at Taylor and smiled. Her enthusiasm was so cute. "Sorry, Jessie, " I told her. "But just to make your brother happy, so he won't worry, let's wait 'till tomorrow ok? First thing.." I ruffled her hair. "Awww man! Ok..." she said, a little dejected. "Hey, now..if I hurt my leg and can't compete, how is Taylor going to bring you to watch? I'm pretty sure that one of the shows is right here in Tulsa..." I told her. Her eyes got big and she looked from me to Taylor. "Really?" I smiled and looked around the table. "Yup! Actually, close friends and family are guaranteed seats, you can all come watch if you want..' I said. "I'll let Taylor know as soon as I know the exact date, Ok?" "COOL!" she squealed. "Okay, Jess we can wait then. I don't want you to miss your show..oh wow! I really get to watch?" I chuckled and ruffled her hair again. Taylor smiled and squeezed my hand under the table. "Well..I wanna go Jess... pretty please?" Zac asked and batted his eyelashes at me lacing his fingers together and resting his chin on them. I laughed, "Well, since you asked so nicely..AND if you behave yourself and give me a break.." I shook my finger at him, "Then I will get you a pass, too. But you have to be a good boy, no tormenting your sisters either.." I teased. There was laughter all around the table. "He'll never make it." Ike stated and shook his head. |
