"Oh god Ike...I am such an IDIOT." Josh exclaimed as soon as he walked through the door. "Tell me something I don't already know." Ike muttered. "What happened?" he asked when Josh looked stunned. Josh luanched into the whole story, trying to make it sound like it was a last resort, like it was Jade's fault that he didn't have enough decency to wait until the girl he claimed to love was ready for the physical part of the relationship. Josh thought he was getting a sympathetic ear until he took a breath and looked into Ike's angry face. "What?" he asked totally lost.

"WHAT?" Ike yelled just as Zac sauntered into the room. "'Sup dorks?" Zac grinned and then the smile left his face imediately when he saw Ike's expression. He looked from Josh, to his brother, and back again. "What the hell...?"

"What do you mean? WHAT?" Ike raged. "Don't even ask me that! YOU should know why she won't speak to you again, and after what I saw the other night? I almost didn't speak to you again. Jade does NOT deserve to be treated like that. And for ANGEL. Gross." Ike gave him a disgusted look. Josh could only stare in disbelief, then look pleadingly at Zac.

"Don't look at me man, I agree with Ike and you are no good at sneakin' around. All of us had some idea before Jade found out. That's why you're here whining like a baby, right? 'Cause she found out? I don't feel sorry for you. Angel or JADE? What the hell were you thinking?" Zac laughed sarcastically. "I was thinking that I could count on you guys, you're supposed to be my friends." Josh whined. "We are. And if you'd told us what was up we could have told you you were fucking up. You made your bed dumbass." Zac retorted, grabbed an apple out of the fridge and left the room.

Ike continued to stare at Josh in disbelief and anger. "Where IS Jade anyway?" Ike asked suddenly, his concern for her softening his expression. "YOU ASSHOLE!" Josh yelled, as Ike's true feelings for Jade dawned on him. "Don't even Josh. I like Jade and I care about her and YOU treated her like shit." Ike answered on the defensive. "YOU are supposed to be family!" Josh stammered.

"And our MOTHERS raised us to treat women better than that!" Ike yelled back.

"Bullshit. You're just happy now that you can go after her.." Josh said.

"So what if I did?" Ike asked defiantly. "You deserve that too."

Josh gritted his teeth and pulled his fist back, but for the first time since they were kids Ike was faster, and Josh found himself on the ground outside the kitchen door, with a rapidly swelling eye.

"What are you boys DOING?" Diana asked in dismay, standing behind Ike and looking at a disheveled and angry Josh.

"Nothing, Aunt Di." Josh said quickly. "Tahnks for the soup and stuff when I was sick. I was just leaving. I'll call you later.." he muttered and ducked his head, brushing teh dirt off as he headed for his car.

"What was that about?" Diana asked her son.

"Nothing mom.." Ike said and went into his room, looking for his car keys. He had to find Jade.
Jade opened her eyes and stretched, then looked carefully at her surroundings. "Ohgod.." she groaned as she worked the kink out of her neck and pulled the seat closer to the pedals. She started her car and backed out of the space she was in, then took off down the highway headed for home.

Once in her apartment, she looked around and decided she did not want to be there. She picked up the phone and dialed Jamie. She let the thing ring for what seemed an eternity, let out a huge, disgusted sigh and hung up. "I gotta get outta here..." she muttered as she listened to Josh's pleading voice on her answering machine. She punched the message button to make it stop, grabbed her suitcase and tossed the first thing she found in her dresser in it. She quickly grabbed toiletries, stuffed them in the bag, yanked the door open and locked it behind her, then slammed it shut as she made a beeline for her car.

Ike drove for what seemed an eternity, to every place he could think of that Jade may show up. He kept trying Tay's cell phone to enlist his and Jamie's help, but Taylor either had the thing turned off or he was ignoring it. He figured the first. "Shit." Ike muttered and decided that if he did not find Jade (who was neither at her apartment or answering her phone)within the next hour he was going to crash dinner at Jamie's father's, whether Tay wanted to make a good impression or not. Besides, Jamie would want to know that Jade was missing, he rationalized.
