Fishing the Kansas Strip Pits
I enjoy fishing for panfish just about as much as kayaking and I have found that fishing in the pits are where the panfish are big and plentiful. You can count on lots of ultra-light fishing fun. If you prefer bass then fish for them, there are large bass to be taken in many of these pits. Chanel cat and even trout can be taken from these pits too. These fish tend to be large and lots of fun to catch. Canoes and small boats are very handy they open up fishing opportunities that you don't often find in other fishing places. There's camping spots at most of these pits but they are not improved.
