This task force was formed to consider the Washington Association of REALTORS’ (WAR) Quality of Life program and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for adapting it for BCREA. WAR’s program was originally conceived as a tool to advance government relations positions, but has evolved into a philosophy for the organization. It is based on five principles:
- Ensuring economic vitality
- Providing housing opportunities
- Preserving our environment
- Protecting property owners
- Building better communities
Chair Kelly Lerigny will present the task force’s findings at the April 21, 2004 meeting of the BCREA Directors, member board presidents and executive officers.
