Crazy Lady Blue

She walks and
She smiles and
She doesn't give a damn.

The lillies are drowning me
Maybe it's me that should be dead
"I'm taking you down with me"
that's what you said.
And you did.

She sighs and
She defies and
She pretends that she's got cancer.

"I'm dying you know"
Maybe just to get a little attention in this place
And if you actually believe me than
I'll laugh right in your face.
(I wish.)

She talks and
She cries and
She waves her good-byes.

She sings and
She lies and
then she dies.
I wrote this about my friend Michelle. It's hard to understand, I think, beacause I keep switching persons throughout it (you know, first person, second person, third person...). I think I wrote it as if I were Michelle, passing in and out of first person and second person. But it's all in third person because I'm pretending to be someone else, so it's... wierd. I may make a little explanation of it someday, even if it's just for Michelle and people who know her.
The title is taken from a song by Utopia.

Tell me what you think!
