The mirrored reality dances on the horizon of an illusory desert,
pulling my light out in an isosceles motion,
bringing me into the middle of a motionless sandstorm.
No, reality does not end.
No, the mirror cannot break.
No, the dreamer will not cry.

When the clock is empty,
the lotus floats on darkness,
then Venetian blinds close on that never-ending chapter.

Unending reality, unbreakable mirror, unwoven dreamer.
Unending dreams, unbreakable dreamer, undying nightmare.
Conception.
A nightmare born that never died,
only floated away into void.
Un-silent mystery nagging at my brain.
Un-being existence that the machine cannot solve.
Mnesomyne's nightmare as the intangible mirror.
Tears, pain, reality, mirror
Moving forward blindly,
Moving without end,
Moving within walls,
Un-being...
This is the Duel song that I wrote for myself. Duel songs are used in the anime SHoujo Kakumei Utena, and they are really wierd, philosophical, and cool. I wrote mine modeling after the structure and language of the others. It has a dream theme.
Notes:
Illusory means "like or causing an illusion."
Isosceles is a thing with two equal sides.
A
lotus is a kind of flower. In ancient Egypt, it grew along the banks of the Nile, and was a symbol of eternal beauty.
Venetian blinds are the kind of blinds that are made up of strips of plastic layed paralel to each other so that you can rotate them to let light in or night.
Mnesomyne, in ancient Greek mythology, was the goddess of memory, and mother of the nine muses.
