Song of the Fallen Soldier's Hopes/ Dreams/ Fears/ Nightmares In the silence of the night, I had a dream. A dream of the coming reality. Burning streaks of silver flash across the open sky. Visions of the future of this sad, blue world. Prophetic images race through my mind. I yell to the stars but get nothing in return. Silence. Only void. When will it come? When will we see What will come of us? Will we survive?... Again silence. Nothingness. But then the answer comes to me, as I fall to the Earth. How can this be? Silver pearls form in my sea of sorrow, and fly, Aimlessly, in the wind, As they are thrown from my turning face While I look up and see a shooting star. But can this be? How can it be?
	I wrote this song after watching Orguss 02, a really cool anime which I reccomend. Other than that, there's not much else I can say for this one. The image I have is of some person, a prophet perhaps, standing in a field looking up at the sky. They had a vision the night before of the Earth's possible downfall. As they she yells to the stars for answers, she sees a shooting star. It is obviousely a sign. (Yes, I purposefully did not say whether it was a good or bad sign. :p ) Tell me what you think!
