Teen (13-19) Miss (20-29) Ms (30-44) Mrs.Ms Elegant (Size 14 & above) Classic Ms (45+) June 2002 The Competition Information The Athletic Wear competition showcases the overall good health of each contestant. This segment of competition accounts for 25% of the total score. The traditional Evening Wear competition showcases the poise, personality, appearance, attitude and grace of the contestant. This segment of competition is worth 25% of the total score. The final 50% of the score is Interview. All contestants have a 5-minute panel interview. This will be your chance to show the judges what sets you apart from the other contestants. It is the combination of these three scores that determines the State pageant winners.
The TALENT competition is optional, based on a 0-20 point basis. The talent competition has absolutely no bearing on the title winners of the Worldwide pageant. Selection of Delegates You may represent the city you live in, where you attend school, were born in, have family living in, or own property in. Sponsorship & Other Fees The sponsorship fee for the pageant is $200. These fees cover your meals, city sash and over $50 worth of gifts. You will be required to sell a 1 page ad for the program book ($100), plus purchase the photo & video package ($100) The talent competition fee is $35. Prizes The state winners will receive sponsorship paid to the Worldwide pageant & an all expense paid trip to next year's pageant to crown your successor.We look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.
