Open Mic # 5 was great. It was the best since the first open Mic nite. Mr. P Chill and DJ Doulbe Ace kept the show on the road...there was not a break in the action. No Bullshit. Just straight and to the point...I was so happy and owe many thanks to Mr. P Chill and DJ Double Ace. The open Mic Nites are finally starting to take form and are becoming what they really should be.

The open mics are starting to blossom the same performers again and again, but yes, we are still having some new acts show up...and yes there are a few acts that are "too Proud" or "too cool" to come back...but I wont say any names boys AND girls.

Anyway...to me the open Mic represents a way for all in the Napa community to meet and greet. Get to know who is here and what project and/or dreams we have and want to work on...or we are working on.
P Chill coming down from Sacramento puts a whole different area on the Map.
I'ts not about if you like hip hop or crazy guitar rock or stand up bass acoustic guitar style...it's about coming together. In other news:
Jon Morales, ex-vocalist for Simply Into Form will be running the sound and helping us book some upcoming shows at CORKS.

Waxthedecks should have a new home away from Geocities sometime next month, although I will leave a link to *this* site on the new website because I'm sure that I will build the new site as I go since I haven't even started working on it yet. How's that for planning, eh?
