Life Is Like That ... My thanks to the moon and the stars for lighting the darkness of day Seen as surreal in the art of bizarre yet only a heartbeat away Tiny particles of bright scatter light on the stones and that mighty old river cleanses dust from the bones with each change of seasons comes a changing of heart with each storm a rainbow we're on stop - we're on start there are mountains to climb from deep valleys below there are lessons to learn round and round, here we go remembering the puzzles where pieces didn't fit or when sorrow found us unprepared to greet it then come those moments filled with bright ecstasy when senses are sated and our minds feel quite free when the giver of new moons makes a deal with the sun while the shadowy forest keeps those secrets unsung still the lord of the future keeps an eye on each scene makes the sun for the day lights the moon for the dream First we are born - lastly we die it is this that we learned to be fact for all of the days, in between we find out that life is like that ...
