| What GOD could be so humble When HE should be so grand That a sinner such as I Could hold HIM in his hand This is how much HE loves me And now I understand How much JESUS cares for me And all that HE gave for man HE could have had anything But, HE wanted none All HE had to do was ask For HE was GOD'S SON Had HE had a life of pleasure We wouldn't have understood How much JESUS cares for us And all that it takes to be good The KING who came to show us All the way to live By humbling HIMSELF before us all HIS life for us did give HE gives HIMSELF to nourish And strengthen from within He feeds our spirit with HIMSELF To help us as Catholics to live |
