A Joy From Within

Is getting along or getting by
Ever enough to satisfy
The bills are all payed so nothing is owed
Yet, lusting for more seems to be the code
If we aren't hungry and the lights are still on
Where's the need to aquire more for home
There are those who have not food nor shelter
Their life is in peril like helter - skelter
And still you see them with a smile
Though they may not have eaten in quite a while
They posses a joy that comes from within
That anyone may aquire but, only when
One stops hunting, searching and longing for more
For the Lord is knocking at the door
To your heart and you must open wide
No knob is there on the outer side
This door must be opened from within
The Lord is knocking ... so, let Him in
Then that joy you will understand
As you walk with the Lord ... hand in hand
