Nature's Grandeur

Sitting here looking out
Over the water so blue
It seems to change ever so slightly
To a lighter shade and hue
A spider swiftly scampers across
The watertop with such grace
And little ripples echo out
From where its legs were placed
I watch as they roll out of sight
Yet, continue I know that they do
Beyond my sight to the other end
Of this pond with the lighter shade and hue
The sun sets slowly and time stands still
For a moment while I am shaken
By a sight that is rarely seen
For pictures are seldom taken
That expose nature in such grandeur
So peaceful, pretty and serene
This site so beautiful the air so fragrant
So crisp, sweet and clean
My GOD I thank You for allowing me here
In this time and place
A more beautiful sight I'll not see
Until I view Your face
