| Peace When Needed ( Found In Prayer ) Distraught and alone Is how I sometimes perceive My total existence Seems to be preconceived When quandries and anguishes Pile up so high That my stack of concerns Might extend to the sky Then ah, yes, the restful thought of prayer To that troublesome mind And to feel close to Jesus Helps to leave it behind Peace and joy are offered And comfort is found In looking to the Cross Jesus, nailed and bound What truely is important And where my thoughts directly should be To simply do my best And completely trust in He For control is not mine But, I must do my part To get out of His way So that He may start To straighten out this clutter That I have created and made And pray that Jesus calls me Come Judgement Day |
