| Searching Where can I look for a topic today That inspiration for writing might spring my way To give me something that I might try to relay Perhaps in words that will come in rhyme I hunt for words and try to find Something special for you at this time Words or thoughts that express what I feel That brings them to life and shows me they're real Your attention for a moment that they may steal Thoughts are sometimes hard to get But, I hope this poem will somehow let You see what I see when I step Behind my computer to write as I do So, you will know that it's not only you Who thinks, feels or sees as you do Others have inside all that you hold Yet, another may express it as it unfolds For we each have our own responsibilities, duties and rolls |
