Beauty shows from an inward place
The beauty shines right through
The beauty not as in your face
But, the beauty of the real you
Not your body nor your face
Not the beauty that is at first seen
But, the beauty that emerges from the depths of you
The beauty from behind the screen
The beauty that is the best of you
The beauty that you're afraid to release
The beauty that shines from behind your eyes
The beauty and the confident peace
The gentle beauty that at first is missed
When from the outside one at first can see
The kind of beauty that is in your face
Rather than the true beauty that lies just beneath
The beauty that makes you who you are
Rather than the beauty that at first people see
The beauty that draws me ever so close
The beauty that I pray is in me
