Comments Had a great first half where he was one of our biggest threats going forward. Solid in the second half.

Comments Moved into the middle to replace Brendan who was absent and had a great game. Passing was excellent, work rate was tremendous, and he topped it off by scoring a great goal. *MAN OF THE MATCH*

Player Eamon Gibney

Comments Worked very hard, and had a couple of chances to score. Did well and didn't give up.

Player Niall McMullen
Position Forward

Comments Although he scored one, Niall won't be happy with the chances he missed. However, he never let his head drop, and got a well deserved goal just before the end.

Player Ronan Kelly
Position Forward

Comments Our goalkeeper turned centre forward had a good game. Had to play outfield with so many absentees but did very well. Went on some great mazy dribbles!!!

Managers Thoughts
I am happy with the result and performance, as we were unable to field a full strength team due to unfortunate circumstances. I was delighted with Robert Deering, who came in and had a very good game. The two boys in the centre of midfield had magnificent games. It was a hard fought match, and winning the challenges was half of the battle. Nobody was afraid to put their foot in and when we got the ball to our midfield maestro's we always looked dangerous. A scrappy game, but the three points are safe in the bag now.
