Welcome to the WBAL (Wanna Be Anglers League) home page!
The WBAL is an amateur fishing league located in Central Minnesota. The league meets each Thursday on an area lake to match wits with bass, walleyes, northern pike, panfish, and the occasional rough fish.
A point system is set up for each species of gamefish, and bonus points are awarded when multiple species are brought in for measuring. In addition, bonus points are awarded for smallest gamefish and largest rough fish.
All fish are brought in livewells for measuring. Each member practices catch and release, or selective harvest to ensure the future of good fishing. |
