PART 1 (DAYS 1-2
1.Draw an accurate map of the journeys of exploration.  Label and colour.
2.Outline a short biography and make a time line.
3.Draw a picture of them.
4.Illustrate their method(s) of travel.
5.Write a bibliography (list of courses you have looked at).

Part 2 (Days 3-4)
1.What country was your explorer from?  What was it like to live there when he did?  Draw a map of his country.  Show where he was born,
and lived, if possible.
2.What language(s) did he speak?  What kind of education did he have?  Where was he educated?
3.What kind of family did he have?  What did they do for a living?  Were they rich or poor?  Make a list of the family members you have
found.

PART 3 (DAYS 5)
1.Why was he an explorer?  What was he looking for?  What was he trying to accomplish?  In your opinion, did he succeed?
2.What religion was your explorer?  Was he interested in spreading it?
3.Who paid for his journey(s)?
