1. Joseph Julien¹ Falcon Sr., son of Antoine Ramon Falcon and Carmelite Falcon, reference 54 was born in Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana. January 28, 1851.⁽¹⁾ Joseph died February 19, 1939 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, at 88 years of age. His body was interred in Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana..⁽²⁾

He married Jeanette 'Wanna' Ourso May 10, 1875. Jeanette was born in Ascension, Louisiana 1854. Jeanette was the daughter of Francois Ourso and Francoise Gomez. Jeanette died March 22, 1934 in New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, at 79 years of age. Her body was interred in Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana..⁽³⁾ Joseph was a cane planter and was on the Ascension Parish Police Jury from 1916 to 1920. He had a nice plantation home in Brusly McCall.

Chris Falcon

10 ix. Chris Falcon reference 55 was born May 29, 1890.⁽⁷⁾ Chris died June 12, 1964 at 74 years of age. He married Mae Denouix in Ascension, Louisiana, April 25, 1909.⁽⁸⁾ Mae was born about 1892.⁽⁹⁾ (Additional notes for Mae Denouix⁽¹⁰⁾) Mae died April 2, 1975 at 82 years of age.⁽¹¹⁾ Chris had his own business. He had seven trucks that would do everything in the oil fields that had to be done. He was instrumental in developing a crane that is being used in the NASA program today. He also had the patent on the marsh buggy. Chris was a man that seems to have been a wheeler dealer. Some say his wife pushed him into it. He bought some land from Joseph Falcon which started a family feud. The land sold by Joseph was his wife's inheritance and was not rightfully his.
