Dear Department of Public Works Officer:
My name is Nicholas Bardell, I have lived within this city my
Entire sixteen years of living. I am working on ideas about some recreational
facilities in the city of West Bend,Wisconsin.
The ideas and questions lie within:
1) Many of the children and teens of this city, have few or no controlled
place(s) to converge and meet with other kids/teens, you may think of the
"Boys and Girls Club of West Bend" and I'd have to agree that this is a
Great place for kids and children to gather. But there is a larger problem
Than this.
2) As you have probably already noticed West Bend is a nice mid-sized
Small town, and within these limits of this town, their are quite a medium
amount of "skaterboarders", "bikers" and "rollerbladers" around the city,
Most of which have no place to go to practice these sports.
3) I am bringing up ideas and concerns of these citizens of this city
within the categories of "skateboarders, bikers, rollerbladers, and
scooters". I have many refrences from other cities in Wisconsin that may
help in the brainstorming and idea making part of this.
If you have the free time within the following week (July 22, 2001-July 28
2001) Could you reply to this message and we could set up a time to meet and

Finally, I am understand that this one letter may not make any "facility"
magically appear, I am willing to work towards, along with many of my
friends, to come up with ideas and questions concerning and dealing with new
facilities being built within the city limits of West Bend. Thank You for

a future Council Meeting in West Bend.
