Synopsis:

In stifling Edwardian London at the turn of the 20th Century, Wendy Darling enjoys telling her younger siblings stories about the mythical Peter Pan, the little boy who never grew up, and Peter's great nemesis, Captain Hook, the legendary pirate who fears nothing but a ticking clock. But a clock is ticking for Wendy, too. Her father has decreed that it's time for her to grow up. After tonight, no more stories. She's to be groomed for womanhood and marriage by strict Aunt Millicent.

Unknown to the Darlings, Peter Pan loves Wendy's stories, too, and travels a great distance to hear them. This very night, much to everyone's surprise, Peter flies into the Darling nursery in search of his shadow, which Wendy had previously captured. Peter – using happy thoughts and Tinker Bell's magic fairy dust – teaches the Darling children to fly and brings them to Neverland to join Peter and the Lost Boys in an exhilarating life free of grown-up rules where they can stay young forever.

Peter, the Lost Boys and the Darling children experience new wonders and dangers. Wendy perfects her role as mother to the Lost Boys and spends many days washing and cooking for them. As time passes, Wendy and the others grow restless and begin to long for a real family and home.

After rescuing Indian princess Tiger Lily from Captain Hook, Peter must save the children, not to mention his own Lost Boys, from the diabolical pirate captain. In addition, he must contend with the jealousy of tiny sprite Tinker Bell, who doesn't like Wendy one little bit.

A series of dangerous and exciting cloak-and-dagger adventures with Captain Hook and Peter leads to the villain's ultimate defeat, and Peter takes the Darling children home in the captured pirate ship which now soars through the sky, thanks to a little contribution from Tinker Bell. The Darling children return home to grow up and their family adopts the Lost Boys.
