Berlin
This is the train station in Berlin, it was cool when we got off. We rode overnight on the train and I was contantly in fear we would be tossed from our cabin as Samantha got standby tickets. As I result I hardly slept.

This was the sign in use when Berlin was a divided city. The former Russian East Berlin seems to have all the history. I thought it would be drab, it was not.
This is the guard house formally used by the Communist East Berlin police to shoot at escapees. This area which was a vast no mans land to the left and right is now completely built up with new buildings. This is the only area that is not built up.
