If you have not gone
to a reunion, here is one account of how it went:
Being my first reunion, my immediate
concerns were – would I recognize everyone?
And will they recognize me? And
will it truly be fun like I have heard reunions can be? Then when the events started to happen, I
really had a great time meeting old friends, making new friends, meeting the
spouses of friends and in turn having great conversation with all. I mean that – it was really a blast and so
easy to converse with everyone! And it
was not all that bad recognizing my old classmates – with hair and body changes
of all types! But I came to realize that
we were all 40-somethings that shared 4 years of our lives together 25 years
ago. I admit being proud of my
classmates - for their accomplishments, significant work efforts, displaying
pride in their own kids, surviving a life-threatening situation. I can’t wait for the next reunion!
