Meals --

| The
Hotel Offers a wide selection of foods prices especially
for delegates. We encourage delegates to eat as
many meals at the hotel as possible. WCIMUN is in
the center of a large eating area that includes
Del Taco, Jack-in-the-Box, Arby, Cocos, and several
other local restaurants. Prices range from $3-$6
for hotel & fast food to $7-$15 for a sit-down
meal. The delegate fee includes a sit-down luncheon
in front of the Alicante on Sunday afternoon. |

Location --

|
| The
West Coast Invitational is held at the beautiful
Hyatt Regency Alicante Hotel, located one mile south
of Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The hotel
is delighted to host the West Coast Invitational.
It offers many specially priced foods aimed at the
age of the delegates. Half of its 400 sleeping rooms
look out into the seventeen story atrium. |

| Each
attending school is responsible for making their
own reservations with the Alicante. The reservations
may be finalized with either a district purchase
order or a credit card number. Reservations may
be made by calling (714) 750-1234. Reservations
must be made by February 28, 2000. A rooming list
must be faxed or mailed to the reservation department
by April 12, 1999. After that date, the Alicante
cannot guarantee that rooms will be available. The
Hotel rates this year are a flat rate of $104 per
night (with a tax of 11% to be added). At four people
in a room for two nights this works out to be around
$54 per person. |

| The
location of the conference offers many unique opportunities
to experience Southern California culture. WCIMUN
is held only one mile south of world famous Disneyland.
We are less than half an hour from "Surf City, USA"
(Huntington Beach). One hour or less away you will
find Hollywood, Universal Studios, Los Angeles'
Hispanic heritage at Olvera Street, and the Getty
Museum of Art. |
