Some of the finest ones I ever saw,
Were always spittin, always had a chaw,
And hooked their thumbs in their overalls,
And also, some of the worst.

Some of the finest ones I ever met,
Seemed to waltz in a rainstorn and never get wet,
In expensive tuxedos and shiny Corvettes,
And also some of the worst.

Some of the finest love to talk about art,
And books and geology and history's part,
In developing cultures without any heart,
And also some of the worst.

Some of the finest, just plain don't like me,
What faults I DON'T have, they imagine, you see,
I don't know why they dwell on poor me,
And also some of the worst.

This world is made of so many kinds,
Some with no liking for differing minds,
They fret and they bother, they e'en sometimes curse,
And make themselves, some of the worst.
