| Tuesdays With Morrie Essay Tuesdays With Morrie, a book by Mitch Albom, about a young man going to visit his old college professor who is dieing of a disease. Morrie, the professor, teaches Mitch many theories to life and taught him why to live life to the fullest. There is one quote from the book that I found interesting and that I thought I could relate to my life. “Accept the past without denying it or discarding it.” This is a quote said by Morrie to Mitch. I can relate to this quote because I used to never do this in my life. I used to dwell on what happened in the past and it made me feel horrible. Now I know that it is not good to completely forget what happened but, to not deny that you did that. This has already helped me in my life because I have learned to deal with the stupid decisions I have made in my life. This is the quote that I found interesting and that I found I could relate to my life. It has helped me a lot because I learned how to handle the past. I liked the book and I think that it is a very good book to read because it teaches many lessons that can be useful in every day society. |
